PETA has been accused of harassment, fat shaming, objectifying women and even making racist attacks against African-Americans yet those claims don’t stop celebrities from working with the organization.

Evelyn Lozada is the latest star to lend her celebrity to PETA’s cause, joining a long list of celebrities including Khloe Kardashian, Nia Long and recently, Wendy Williams. Lozada revealed she was compelled to pose for PETA after she watched video footage of animals on fur farms and saw firsthand how animals are mistreated to create fur. At that point, she decided to swear off fur for good.

The former fur-wearer, who has came to blows with various women on VH1′s “Basketball Wives” reality show, had this to say about animals’ tremendous suffering: “You can verbalize what happens to these animals a thousand times, but [when] you see it, it definitely clicks in—and it did for me.”

Evelyn was photographed in the nude by celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson for a holiday-themed ad featuring snowflakes and a caption urging shoppers not to buy fur.
