It’s been said that there’s always someone out there for everyone but what if you’re not sure you want to find them? Married At First Sight’s new spin-off show puts 16 new individuals to the test to overcome their aversions to love and finally get the opportunity to put the fate of their love life in someone else’s hands.
Finding love is not easy, whether broadcasted nationally or trying to make it work in real-time. Some settle, others give up and stay single forever and then there are those take a note from the great, late singer Aaliyah and "dust themselves off and try again." Each season, Married At First Sight has gotten us deep in our feelings as we watch the progression of the couples paired up for wedded bliss. But it isn't all love, in fact there tends to be a lot of drama—and we love it. From getting arrested on the way to honeymoons to explosive revelations about babies on the way, viewers are super invested in the wellbeing of these marriages and have developed a sense of commitment to seeing them through.
Since the show has aired, more than 65,000 people have signed up to find their chance at love but only a few are chosen. What happens to the rest? Well, we're about to find out.
Lifetime is bringing Married At First Sight to a whole new level with Married At First Sight: Unmatchables premiering Wednesday, April 21, at 10 pm ET/PT. Under the guidance of experts Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Viviana Coles, 16 individuals who previously signed up to participate in the MAFS process, will have a chance to try again and hopefully find a love to last forever. Through this remixed process, the couples will dive deep into their reasons for being unable to find love and begin a healing transformation that will allow them to open up to love and the promise of a potentially extremely fulfilling relationship.
