In 1996, Lauryn Hill and Nas would link up for what would be a summer takeover with their hit “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That).” Now, 21 years later, the hip-hop legends are hitting the road.

The 17-city tour is set to kick off on Sept. 7 in Chicago, running thorugh major cities like Toronto, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles, before wrapping up in Oct 11 in Vancouver.

Akin to its headliners, the tour will feature Comedian Hannibal Buress and reggae star Chronixx, who will open on select dates offering the audience a multi-dimensional feel of sorts. Citi presale tickets have already gone up but general sale will be available to the public starting June 2.

This is history,” Nas said in regards to their stint back in 2012 when they first linked up for the “Life Is Good/Black Rage Tour.” Following up with a 2014 duet at Coachella and L-Boogie’s “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! Tour,” in which Nas also had select dates, the duo’s bond is not only historic but magnetic.

Lauryn remains one of music best MC’s with only 1998’s classic The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill as her most predominant accolade, while Nas plans to drop a follow-up to 2012’s Life Is Good this year.
