Community star Yvette Nicole Brown talked with EBONY on Thursday while attending the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story in Los Angeles about growing up as a fanatic of the Star Wars franchise.
“It means everything to me as a human being because I’m the hugest nerd,” Brown said. “It’s been a part of my life since I was a kid. Now, I’ve lived long enough to where friends of mine are now in this film.”
The actress also spoke about voicing Okoye in the upcoming LEGO Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda. She said that she did the voiceover for the comedic film before the release of Marvel’s Black Panther and could not release any details.
The special is set to premiere on Disney XD this summer.
