On Wednesday, rapper Fabolous born John Jackson turned himself in on aggravated assault charges. Jackson reportedly assaulted his longtime girlfriend and mother of his sons Emily Bustamante. It is also alleged that he made terroristic threats to her father and brother.

According to the documents the alleged assault came as a result of a previous incident between the couple on March 7, reports NorthJersey.com. The alleged victim claims that the Jackson “became enraged” after finding out she had gone to Los Angeles through social media. She told police that on the flight back that the 40-year-old stated via text that he wanted to go over her head with a baseball bat and that he would kill her.

During a later incident, Jackson is said to have punched Bustamante seven times in the face “causing severe damage to her two front teeth.” Out of fear the victim is said to have called her father about guns in the Englewood home.

According to the affidavit, “the victim called her father to remove two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her.” Allegedly when Jackson entered the home, he confronted Bustamante, her father, and her brother before going through the house looking for the guns.

The documents state, “When he could not locate the guns, the defendant left the house, but not before informing the victim, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them.”
