Some say it’s never too early to start celebrating the holidays, and Fantasia agrees. Although it’s October, the star released her Christmas album, Christmas After Midnight.

The festive project is produced by Ron Fair and includes special renditions of classics such as “This Christmas,” “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” CeeLo Green joins on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

The album is not only a tribute to the greats but is dedicated to someone special. It “pays homage to my grandmother and is a gift from me to all of those who remember their grandparents or parents putting up Christmas trees and being a blessing to people’s lives,” she said. “I’d also like to pay homage to the great singers like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles, who stood strong in what they believed in—the music. I hope that it blesses you guys.”

The “Truth Is” singer will be hitting the road in support of the album for her  “Christmas After Midnight—A Holiday Concert,” slated to kick off  Nov. 19 in Dallas. Stream the album on Apple Music here.
