Help us find Amir Jennings! Family members originally filed a missing persons report for Amir Jenning and Zinah Jennings (Amir's mother) when they couldn't locate or get in touch with the two, Columbia police said. On Christmas Eve, Zinah Jennings was involved in a car accident on Millwood Avenue and Lady Street. The responding officer noticed that Jennings was considered a missing person. Police say that when Jennings was questioned about her son, she gave "false and inconsistent information." Police also believe Jennings has ties to the Atlanta, Ga. and Charlotte, N.C. areas. There is a $10,000 reward for the safe return of Amir. Police didn't put two and two together at the time of accident. Zinah walked away from the hospital after being released and showed up a a friend of the family in a hospital gown. Zinah learned on Dec 29th that the police were looking for her. She called and identified herself and she walked to the police station and turned herself in. She has been detained since on a $150,000 bail.
