Yesterday (May 31), the often outspoken flashy Mayweather congratulated his son for the achievement after he graduated from West Ranch High School in California. “I’m so proud of my son @kingkoraun for doing something that I didn’t do, and that’s graduate high school,” the boxer wrote under a series of photos of the two of them.

He continued: “When I was his age I dropped out of school and followed my dream of boxing to take my family out of poverty!”

Through his decision, Mayweather has become a boxing legend with a 50-0 record, the second highest winning streak in the modern sport. He is also one of the wealthiest athletes in the world after such a successful career.  He retired in 2015 and made a one-fight return in 2017 to battle it out with MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
