Fox News fired contributor Kevin Jackson on Thursday for calling Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and other women who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct “lying skanks.”

Jackson posted the inflammatory comments on Twitter during Ford’s testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, where she detailed her accusation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a high school party in the 1980’s.

“Feminists are their own worst enemies, and enemy of women,” he tweeted. “TO HELL with the notion that women must be believed no matter what. Lying skanks is what these 3 women are, and we ALL know more #TeamKJ.”

In a statement to NBC News, Fox confirmed that it terminated the conservative pundit.

“Kevin Jackson has been terminated as a contributor. His comments on today’s hearings were reprehensible and do not reflect the values of Fox News,” the news organization said.

The author also tweeted to his 68,000 followers: “Dang girl, stop opening your legs and OPEN A BOOK!”

Two other women have accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in the week following Ford’s accusation.

On Sunday, in a New Yorker article Deborah Ramirez accused him of exposing himself to her at a college party. A third accuser, Julie Swetnick, claimed on Wednesday that she saw Kavanaugh “consistently engage in excessive drinking and inappropriate contact of a sexual nature with women in the early 1980s.”

Kavanaugh, who also testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, denied all allegations against him.
