A women’s storytelling platform and feminist media brand has announced its official lineup for its 2018 MAKERS Conference.

According to a press release sent to EBONY, MAKERS is seeking to empower women through the #RaiseYourVoice movement from Feb. 5-7. The event will take place at LA’s NeueHouse Hollywood.

“With women raising their voices today on every continent, in every industry and at every level, the fourth MAKERS Conference will take this #RaiseYourVoice movement to the next level, bringing together hundreds of trailblazing leaders and exploring new ways to make shock waves, unleash a collective power, and lift each other up to fight for causes that matter,” the release states.

This year’s conference will also expand the MAKERS experience to college students, via a USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism partnership. The expansion serves as an effort “to deepen MAKERS’ commitment to help cultivate the leaders of tomorrow.

The conference will feature several prominent celebrities who have commissioned to inspire every woman to #RaiseYourVoice, including, Uzo Aduba, Kumail Nanjiani, Bozoma Saint John, Cleo Wade and Lena Waithe.

11-year-old Flint, Michigan scientist, Gitanjali Rao, will also take the stage.

The conference will feature a variety of companies who are committed to celebrating and empowering their game-changing women employees through a partnership with MAKERS.

“The MAKERS Conference isn’t just a conference – it’s history in the making. We are amidst a seismic change in the women’s movement, and MAKERS is proud to be leading the conversation towards real change,” said Dyllan McGee, founder and executive producer of MAKERS. “As a feminist media brand, we stand in solidarity with those who have spoken out against sexual harassment. In support of them and all women fighting for equality on every front, we are ready to raise our voices louder than ever before.”
