Hennessy (aka your cousin's favorite Cognac) hosted one of NYC's hottest Super Bowl after parties this past weekend, while also feteing the 3rd year of their "Never Stop. Never Settle" campaign. Brand spokesman Nas and songbird Kelly Rowland both rocked the massive crowd at Spring Studios with live bands, and DJs Mark Ronson and White Shadow took the stage as well.

Attendees included Hip-Hop golden couple Jay Z and Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Bow Wow, Bun B, Jermaine Dupri, Luke James, Estelle, Theophilus London, Tyson Beckford, Jessica White and Jay Ellis. We also spotted a number of your favorite (or least favorite) reality stars, including the infamous Peter Gunz and Amina coupling.

We briefly caught up with Nas, who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his legendary Illmatic, as he stunted on everyone in a custom made Tom Ford fur ("Special edition. Classic kind of sh*t, ain't even out right now."). While the Queensbridge legend no longer listens to his debut album ("I heard it forever. I lived with it forever. I don’t even listen to it anymore. It is what it is"), he will be performing it in it's entirety at this year's Coachella. When asked who his favorite young emcees are these days, he was quick to shout out "J. Cole, of course, Drake, Tyler [the Creator and] Kendrick [Lamar]" and also mentioned that he was pleased with Seattle's Super Bowl win and is looking forward to what comes next for cornerback Richard Sherman: "This is going to be interesting. He needs to get paid. He’s that passionate about football. I haven’t seen that kind of passion in a minute."

As far as his ongoing partnership with Hennessy, Nas says the relationship is just a natural one: "In this lifetime, there’s certain things you can’t explain, like why was Hennessy our choice to drink coming up. It’s just certain things you can’t fight. I couldn’t fight a collaboration with Hennessy."
