It was announced today that former Disney star Zendaya Coleman will be stepping into Aaliyah’s iconic hip-huggers in Lifetime’s upcoming biopic on the late star. Originally from Oakland, CA, Coleman starred in the Disney series Shake It Up and has also appeared on Dancing With the Stars, becoming the show’s youngest contestant at 16. In 2013, she released her debut self-titled album featuring the Platinum selling hit, “Replay.”
