Black people now have another reason to celebrate April 20. Today marks the first official EBONY Black America Day, a time to celebrate African-American culture, history and legacy. The day, which was declared by the Congressional Black Caucus and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, is a major feat for the Black community and the brand.

How do we celebrate EBONY Black America Day? It's simple. The day will be a time to honor Black culture, Black-owned businesses and Black people.

The brand is also celebrating with the release of EBONY: Covering Black America, a book that highlights some of the most memorable moments in the brand's 76 years of history.

You can find EBONY: Covering Black America at Black-owned bookstores all over the country, including Black Pearl Bookstore (Texas), Black Stone Bookstore & Cultural Center (Michigan) and 44th & 3rd (Atlanta). The book is also available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Don't forget to celebrate EBONY Black America Day—and mark your calendars for next year.
