OWN’s award-winning series, Iyanla: Fix My Life, will return to the Oprah Winfrey-owned network on Saturday, September 30.

For 3 seasons, we’ve watched New York Times bestselling author and spiritual life coach, Iyanla Vanzant, assist some of the world’s most notable personalities as they attempt to get their life back on track.

Season 4 begins with Iyanla traveling to Memphis to work with former rapper Turk of Hot Boys fame. At 21, the rapper was on top, having achieved platinum success in the music game and his money was abundant. But just two months after meeting his girlfriend, Erica, his life fell apart after becoming involved in a shootout with police.

“Four years after his release, Turk and his wife Erica are struggling to save their marriage from Turk’s deep-seated paranoia stemming from the shooting and his fear that his former acquaintances are determined to get revenge,” according to a press release from OWN announcing the season premiere. “Iyanla also works with Erica to help her find her identity, which she has lost sight of through the multiple traumas she has suffered since she first met Turk.”

Vanzant is a three-time NAACP Image-Award winner and six-time New York Times bestselling author. Her “focus on faith, personal development and loving relationships has captivated and inspired audiences around the world.”

Her most recent book, Forgiveness: 21 Days to Forgive Everyone for Everything, is available now in bookstores.
