Even the most composed person could stand to benefit from some sound advice every now and then. Cue, best-selling author and spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant. This year, Vanzant will be making her first return to television since her short-lived 2001 talk show "Iyanla." Having publicly patched up things with Iyanla Vanzant on one of her final "Oprah" episodes, Oprah Winfrey has given Vanzant a spot on her network, which features many prominent public experts such as Dr. Oz, Suze Orman, and Phil McGraw. Titled "Iyanla Fix My Life," Vanzant's show will center on her using motivational prowess to improve the lives of various individuals in dire need for a change.

While the project has been in production for a while now, Vanzant recently released a statement via Facebook declaring her excitement surrounding the show: "I am so humbled and grateful to have this opportunity to do what I love; on a network that gives me the freedom to be myself; working with people who value what I bring to the table; offering to the people I love (that would be you) a consistent dose of something I believe will facilitate and support the personal growth and spiritual evolution of individuals, families and communities." Although a specific date has yet to be set, Vanzant has stated the show is slated for air later this year and has assured the public that she will release that information as soon as she herself finds out.

Will Vanzant's show provide OWN with that special 'oomph that some claim to be lacking on Oprah Winfrey's network?
