If it's one thing Beyoncé and Jay-Z are going to do, it's "stack their money fast" and make monumental moves on behalf of their legacy. The Carters further solidified their generational wealth by closing on a $200 million property in Malibu, California last month. They are now a part of the select few celebrities who own homes over $100 million.

While jet-setting around the world during Bey's Renaissance World Tour, it's amazing that the two even had time to go in on such a lucrative purchase.

The reported 30,000-square-foot home is an upgrade from their previous $88 million mansion in Bel Air. The property was previously owned by William Bell, a renowned art collector, and designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. With the couples known love of art, this home seems to be the perfect match for their family.

What's more iconic is that the duo paid for the new investment in cash upfront. Additionally, this is the most expensive sale in California's state history. Jay-Z and Beyoncé have also owned properties in New York, Louisiana and Florida.
