Superstar music mogul Jermaine Dupri confirmed that he and Diddy will face each other in a Verzuz Battle. This comes after the two previously refused to participate in the music competition due to Triller's refusal to properly compensate the platform's creators Swizz Beats and Timberland. Since then, Beats and Timberland reached a settlement with Triller that allowed them to restructure Verzuz. On a recent podcast appearance, Dupri shared that the upcoming event will highlight the best of both of his and Diddy's discographies.

"We going into this Verzuz, me and Puff, I’m the underdog; a dangerous underdog too. And I say danger because people don’t really know my records. We know all Puff’s songs, he don’t have no hidden records that I’m like, oh, I didn’t know he did. I got a bunch of records that he don’t even really be thinking about," said Jermaine Dupri.

Although a date has not been given, the So So Def and Bad Boy Verzuz showdown is already slated to take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
