West has been a vocal supporter of the president. The two met in a highly publicized meeting at the White House in October at which he told Trump the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat made him feel like a superhero.

“There was something about putting this hat on that made me feel like Superman,” West said at the time.

West made his public debut wearing the MAGA hat earlier in 2018, around the same time he made comments saying slavery was a choice.

“From now on I’m performing with my mutherf***ing hat on,” he said on Monday.

“One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black,” he added in another tweet.

The rapper/designer also seemingly hinted at a 2024 presidential run after making the comment that Black people are under control, writing “90% of Blacks are Democrats,” per CNN.
