Kelly Rowland is keeping friend and fellow The X Factor judge Demi Lavato in her thoughts, showing her support of the Confident singer who was recently hospitalized after a reported heroin overdose.

The Destiny’s Child songstress attended the opening of Refinery29’s 29 Rooms installation in Chicago on Wednesday, visiting their “Power Parlor” to get a temporary lion tattoo matching Lavato’s own. The parlor is intended to help visitors turn their pain into art with any number of temporary tattoos inspired by the pop star, with Rowland tagging her fellow musician in an Instagram post showcasing the design.

Page Six reports Rowland and Lavato have been close friends since they shared judging duties on the American version of The X Factor back in 2013.

Lavato’s lion tattoo is meant to represent her astrological sign, Leo, as well as being a symbol of strength for the recovering artist. It also corresponds to her 2015 song, “Lionheart.”
