After winning his first Emmy for Saturday Night Live, Kenan Thompson is reportedly set to star in Saving Larry, a single-camera comedy, on NBC. According to Deadline, the comedian will likely exit the late-night sketch show to focus on the new primetime sitcom by SNL creator/executive producer Lorne Micheals.

Saving Larry is written by Jacki Clarke and focuses on a widower left to raise his two children under the watchful eye of his father-in-law.
