Well, this is a first! If you thought you repped your city hard, think again. After Kanye and Kim recently confirmed that their latest addition via surrogate had arrived, they have also revealed the name of their daughter — and it’s Chicago West! Yes, baby no. 3 for the KimYe is named after the city in which Kanye reps the hardest. Although born in Atlanta, Georgia, Kanye moved to the South Shore neighborhood in Chicago, where he was raised by his late mother, Donde West.

Chicago West is Kim and Kanye’s second daughter, and third child overall. We’ve heard of the names “Brooklyn” (often stylized “Brook-Lynn), Paris, Milan and even Phoenix, but Chicago is a first for us. We think it’s cute. Hey Chi!
