The Emmy Award-nominated actress, singer and songwriter Raven-Symoné will receive the Jewel Thais-Williams Trailblazer Award at the 34th annual LA Black Pride.

Held on the weekend of the 4th of July, Raven-Symoné will be recognized for her outstanding contributions and impact on music, TV, film and culture.

Since her debut on The Cosby Show four years ago, Raven-Symoné has been a fixture on the pop culture landscape. She went on to star in Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and at 15 years old, she starred in her own Disney Channel television series That's So Raven. Currently, she is reprising her Disney role as Raven Baxter on Raven's Home.

On the silver screen, Raven-Symoné has starred in The Cheetah Girls, Dr. Dolittle Dr. Dolittle 2, The Princess Diaries 2, College Road Trip as well as several other films.

She's received five NAACP Image Awards, two Kids' Choice Awards, three Young Artist Awards, along with three Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2012, she was included on  VH1's list of "100 Greatest Child Stars of All Time."
