YouTube cooking sensation, Felicia “Auntie Fee” Odell, has passed away at the age of 59.  Odell suffered a massive heart attack Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles after complaining of chest pains, and was initially placed on life support.

Odell became a viral smash in 2014 after posting her recipes for “good ass chicken” and “sweet treats for the kids.” She also scored a small role in the movie Barbershop 3.

An initial report from TMZ stated that Odell had passed away after being rushed to the hospital. However, the site quickly updated its story after learning that Odell was still alive, but on life support.

“We were first told by Fee’s nephew, Sosten Price, and sister, Ayesha, that the 59-year-old died Tuesday after the medical emergency. However, we’ve now learned she’s on life support surrounded by family at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center after being rushed by ambulance,” TMZ said.

People close to Odell took to social media to seemingly co-sign the updated reports.

Though “Auntie Fee” herself posted on Saturday that she wasn’t feeling too well, fans were still shocked and saddened by the news.

Odell’s son Tavis Hunter, who also served as her cameraman and sidekick, confirmed the sad news via Facebook last night:

Condolences go out to her family and friends.
