America has become more comfortable at home. We've had to in a year where we stayed home to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus. During this time, many of us have found solace in our homes, updating and renovating spaces to feel a sense of renewal. For Kiyanna Stewart and Jannah Handy, the couple behind BLK MKT Vintage, home is a reflection of identity, joy, and comfort. Their home is so dope it's been featured in InStyle and Essence, boasting a mix of vintage gems and sentimental pieces reflective of what they sell at BLK MKT Vintage in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

"Been reflecting a lot about what/where home is and how this house has served as an incredible canvas for the life I and we are crafting, intentionally," Kiy said in an Instagram post about their home. "I don’t take for granted that I, for one, have a home and that, two, I get to fill it with ways of seeing myself in boundless iterations and forms every single day."

Adding, "This morning, as @liannelahavas’ voice wafted through the crib, Jay was out wrapping up a project with HBO, and the dogs were napping, I lit my favorite @litbklyn candle (Joy) and took a few moments to express gratitude for where I am at this very moment, without all the things. Sometimes it’s hard to isolate myself from the my work and its tactile component... I mean, I’m in the business of things. But, I saw myself without all the things and she was fierce."
