The weather is getting warmer, which means the event scene is about to heat up!  There will be more BBQs, picnics and rooftop brunch parties than you can count, but if you don’t want to be browsing the internet, jealous, with a severe case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), then these four events are the ones to add to your can’t miss list.

Rolling Loud – May 5-7 – Miami, FL

Coachella is cool, but Rolling Loud is cooler.

Back for a third year, Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival has become one of the premier hip-hop events in the Southeast, with last year’s event hitting capacity at 15,000 attendees.  Last year’s lituation included Future, 2 Chainz, Young Thug and Lil Yachty.  This year expect to turn up to Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, A$ap Rocky, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Mac Miller, Migos, Lil Yatchy and more!

10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic – June 3 -New York, NY

Nothing kicks off summer in NYC like popping champagne, and nobody does champagne better than Veuve Clicquot.  Combine that with an edge of your seat polo game, a fancy picnic and folks looking for an excuse to get dressed up in their bougie best, and you’ve got the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic aka the must attend event of the season.  Actor Neil Patrick Harris will serve as the event host, with world-renowned polo player and international icon, Nacho Figueras returns as co-host of the chic daytime fête.  Alicia Keys will be doing her thing in a special performance to benefit her charity Keep A Child Alive. New to the experience this year is the introduction of Veuve Clicquot’s newest champagne offerings, Veuve Clicquot Rich and Rich Rosé. General Admission is available for $150, early access grants guests a spot on the first ferry departing from Manhattan to Liberty State Park for $225 and for the ballers, the intimate Rosé Garden experience is $500.  Tickets go on sale today, April 27th at 3PM EST.

10th Annual Roots Picnic – June 3 – Philadelphia, PA

If champagne isn’t your thing, have no fear.  Grab a Philly cheesesteak and head over to the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing for the Roots Picnic. The Roots Picnic is definitely an event worth traveling for, especially when the line up includes bangers like Pharrell and the Roots, Lil Wayne, Solange, 21 Savage, Kimbra, Black Thought and Pete Rock, to name a few.

Tickets range from $75 to $259 for general admission.  That’s a small price to pay for what is sure to be the hottest concert in the city this summer.

Curl Fest – July 15 – Brooklyn, NY

Just picture it. Hundreds of natural hair beauties, in all shades of brown, sporting everything from flowing press outs to bouncing curls and powerful fros, for as far as the eye can see.  Sounds like heaven on earth right? Well, if heaven was Curl Fest, you would be absolutely correct. Last year’s fest had guests flying in from as far as Brazil and France to enjoy the festivities and we’re sure this year will be no different. Some of the biggest names in beauty rock with Curl Fest, so expect everything from celebrity stylists and influencers, to live demonstrations and amazing giveaways.  And fellas, this event isn’t just for the ladies. You might just find your future bae in the crowd, so don’t miss it!
