NBA star Kyrie Irving might not be this year’s NBA Finals champ, but he’s certainly an MVP in our eyes.

Why? Because the 25-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers point guard did something very special for his dad. According to PeopleIrving renovated his father’s home.

“He sacrificed a lot,” Kyrie says in the latest episode of online series “My Houzz.” “He ultimately gave up his dream to play basketball professionally [to support his family]. He really was super dad.”

Irving said his dad has no plans to move from his home, so he figured he would add a little bit of newness to it for him.

“It’s his first house; I think he wants it to be his only house,” Kyrie says in the series.

With the help of designer Jules Duffy, the pro athlete gave his dad the most memorable home makeover ever, and it happened just in time for Father’s Day.

“This has always been a dream,” Irving’s dad, Drederick, says in the clip after seeing his newly remodeled home … but I never envisioned it would be like this.”
