Insecure star Neil Brown Jr. recently gave his wife, Catrina, the wedding of her dreams in beautiful vow renewal ceremony at the Newhall Mansion in Piru, California.
“It truly was a magical ceremony, just like my wife,” Brown said exclusively to EBONY. “I thank God he made it possible for me to finally give the woman of my dreams, the wedding of our dreams. The perfect way to thank her for being her.”
The couple’s story began in high school, where they met and fell in love. They married early in their adulthood and now share two sons. Both Neil and Catrina’s parents have been in their respective marriages for more than 45 years and are great examples of how to create lasting unions.
The beautiful bride wore a gown by Alessandro Angelozzi and jewelry by Jeffery B. Jewelers, the only Black-owned jewelry store in Colorado. The actor wore a suit from Klein Epstein & Parker.
“My husband is my real-life Prince Charming, he has truly made our life into a fairytale. Our vow renewal was imperfectly perfect for us,” the doting bride revealed. “It would not have been the perfect day without a few mishaps ( like missing bridal shoes, a broken heel, and scrambling at the last minute to find something Blue).I was really upset I didn’t have anything blue until I looked at my best friend/husband waiting for me at the end of the isle dresses in blue. Neil was my something blue that day and made me complete. Something old, something new, something borrowed ,and he was my something blue!”
Catrina added, “Neil made my wedding day unbelievably amazing. My father finally got to walk me down the isle and give me away to the most loving, caring, giving, smart, handsome man in my world! We got to celebrate with our closest friends and family which made it so special. In summary our Vow Renewal was our perfect day... Magical”
Among the guests were fellow Seal Team and Insecure cast members including Jay Ellis, David Boreanaz, AJ Buckley, Tone Bell, andCory Hardrict and his wife, Tia Mowry.
