Fans of Beyoncé’s gorgeous and glam beauty looks will soon be able to get the queen beat themselves, as her trusted make-up guru, Sir John, is set to drop not one, but two cosmetics lines.
The celebrity MUA revealed the news in a Q&A with WWD, saying, “That’s totally happening now. I have two licensing deals. Some things are coming out this year and I think everyone’s going to be super surprised about who I’m partnering with.”
John’s new deals are just the latest in beauty-related business
moves for the young talent. He’s currently the brand ambassador for cosmetics
brand Alleven, whose Colour Shield Hydrating Tinted Protection spray he used on
Bey during her 2018 Coachella performance. Following the show, the product sold
out online three times.
“[The Colour Shield] doesn’t move. It passed that white test
during Coachella. [Beyoncé] blotted her body with this white towel and it
didn’t come off,” shared the artist.
The “Love On Top” singer may be one of his professional muses,
but John’s mother is still “the most beautiful woman in the world,” as far as
he’s concerned.
I used to watch her in the morning put it on. The way she used to come out of the bathroom after applying her makeup, I’m like “I want to make that happen with other people.”
