Tonight, people across the country will be hosting events in hopes that they'll be toasting to the success of their presidential candidate. If you're planning on entertaining friends, or simply watching the big announcement at home, consider pouring up some of these great cocktails featuring Malibu Black rum! 

The One Percent

  • 2 parts Malibu® Black
  • 1/2 part Chambord®
  • 1 part pineapple juice
  • 1/2 part pomegranate juice

Shake all ingredients in a shaker and strain into a well chilled martini glass.

The Swing State

  • 1 part Malibu® Black
  • Dash of ABSOLUT® Pears
  • 1 part lemonade
  • 1 part lemon-lime soda

Build all ingredients over ice in a tall glass.

Taxation-Tini

  • 1 part Malibu® Black
  • 1 part Martell Cognac
  • 1 part premium orange liqueur
  • 3/4 part fresh lemon juice


Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.

A Glass of the Middle Class

  • 1 part Malibu® Black
  • 1/2  orange, quartered
  • 1/2 lemon, quartered
  • 1/2 part simple syrup

Muddle chunks of lemon and orange in a rocks glass. Add Malibu Black and simple syrup. Fill with crushed ice. Garnish with fruit.
