Just days after taking home a Daytime Emmy, Loni Love is combating reports that she got the ax from hit talk show The Real and is to be replaced with a White woman.

OK! reports that a gossip blog recently claimed Love had been fired because she comes off as dismissive and disengaged in certain topics. Higher ups, reportedly, also wanted to make the show “less Black,” with plans to replace the stand-up with a White host. The series is currently led entirely by women of color, including African-Americans Love and Tamera Mowry-Housley; Jeannie Mai, who is Asian-American; and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, who is Latina.

Love took to the airwaves Monday morning to address the rumor, saying it couldn’t be further from the truth.

“You know, I’m just glad security let me back in this morning, because I’m not sure if you heard or not, a gossip blog site started a rumor over the weekend that I was getting fired and replaced by a White girl!” she said, adding, “Look at that! Why did they have to use that picture?”

“I didn’t know it was coming, you know, and I ended up reposting that, because I think it’s funny,” she continued. “I mean, I knew it wasn’t true. So I said, ‘What white girl could replace me?’ Like, Chelsea Handler, Stacey Dash, Rachel Dolezal?… It’s totally not true, you guys.”
