Trouble in Paradise? #PrisonBae Agrees to Child Support Arrangement

A couple of years ago, the Internet went NUTS over Jeremy Meeks. It didn’t matter that he was a convicted felon, the world loved them some #PrisonBae.

Since his claim to fame (a mugshot where his obvious handsomeness was seen up close and personal), Jeremy Meeks aka #PrisonBae, has walked on runways as a model and has been featured in major ads. These are dreams that only a few can see come to fruition.

While Meeks may be one fine brother, there seems to be trouble in paradise. Like all of us, he’s dealing with normal issues like breakups, children and divorce. Your looks do not absolve you of being human.

Anyway, TMZ reports that Meeks struck a deal in his divorce case. He agreed to pay his estranged wife, Melissa, $1,000 a month (and that’s retroactive to Nov. 2017).

Melissa’s attorney, Lisa Bloom told the media outlet “We are pleased that we were able to get Melissa child support in an amount 25% above legal guidelines. And the parties have worked together to come up with a reasonable child custody and visitation schedule, as parents should.”

The couple are parents to a 9-year-old son, Jeremy Jr.
