Former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Apollo Nida is seeking to nullify a prenup he signed with his estranged wife, Phaedra Parks.
According to TMZ, Nida is citing Phaedra’s involvement in the show as reasoning for the change. The media outlet claims to have obtained documents that include claims from Nida about the couple’s financial situation drastically changing for the better because of the show.
Nida is pushing for the change to be taken into consideration when it comes to dividing the funds in their tense divorce. Phaedra’s camp has yet to comment on the new development.
Things haven’t been exactly smooth sailing for Parks. Earlier this month, the attorney-turned-reality star was let go from the cast of RHOA following an emotional reunion with her cast mates.
During the segment, which aired on Sunday, May 7, it came to light that Parks wasn’t exactly telling the truth about her knowledge regarding a rumor that Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd, planned to drug fellow cast member, Porsha Williams and take her home.
“I trust you as a friend,” Porsha said after discovering that Phaedra wasn’t certain the rumors were true. “There’s nothing that I think that you would tell me that could hurt me or damage someone else. You said ‘first person.’ You said, ‘Kandi told me this.’”
“I screwed up,” Phaedra said after mumbling a vague denial under her breath. At that point, Kandi proceeded to go off on stage.
Phaedra took to Instagram soon after the show aired and posted the following note:
“New day, new week! Have a magnificent #Monday! #letsgo”
