Celebrities date people all of the time, but for Olympic champion, Simone Biles, balancing the gymnastics beam with romance was particularly challenging.
So challenging that the 20-year-old confessed that she’s never had a boyfriend.
In April, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Biles told ET’s Lauren Zima that she had only been on one date.
“I have never had a boyfriend in my life,” said Biles. “At 20 years old I feel like you should have gone through those things and gone on dates. I have been on like, maybe one proper date.”
But now, it appears that the gold medalist’s relationship status has changed.
On Monday, Biles posted a subtle, but somewhat telling image of herself looking up at fellow gymnast, Stacey Ervin, 23.
“Always smiling with you,” she captioned the photo.

Ervin, who was tagged in the IG photo, also took to the social media platform to share some heartfelt words about the 2016 Olympic individual all-around, vault and floor gold medalist.
“Words cannot express how incredibly proud I am of you, all you’ve accomplished & how well you carry yourself,” he captioned a photo of the two. “You make me feel like I am the luckiest man alive. Congratulation on your induction to the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. 😘”
