Last week, actor and comedian Kevin Hart revealed shocking details regarding his first marriage to Torrei Hart, and they were not pretty.

In an interview on The Breakfast Club, the 37-year-old actor and disclosed that he and his former spouse got physical during their marriage.

Now Hart, who married his second wife, model Eniko Parrish, last year, seems to be becoming even more candid about marriage, specifically, how he’s better suited this time around.

“My first marriage, I got married too young,” he said during an appearance on Oprah’s Master Class. “It was young, young love.”

When comparing the two unions, the funnyman also reflected on how the fast-paced lifestyle that came with his developing fame affected his first marriage.

“In any relationship, it’s very hard to understand being gone,” Hart explained. “It’s very hard to understand coming in the house … 3:00, 4:00 in the morning on a consistent basis. As a comedian, we’re out until 5:00 a.m., but you can’t tell a person that doesn’t understand that world.”

But now, Hart says, he knows how to be a husband.

“In this marriage, she [Eniko] was able to get a Kevin 2.0―a Kevin that’s a grown man,” he said. “I have to be different to get different.”
