Master P is literally that—a multitalented entrepreneur with successful ventures in music, business and sports. The 47-year-old, whose full name is Percy Robert Miller, owns the Global Mixed Gender Basketball League. He told TMZ this week that he wouldn’t mind copping a football league of his own as well.

“They’re gonna have to start their own league,” Miller said when asked his opinion on the controversy surrounding NFL players’ right to protest. “Maybe Kaepernick, if he wants to stay in shape and play in our basketball league, or I’ll help him start his own league.”

“I think he should. I mean, he’s a great football player,” he continued. “I think the NFL should have some competition.”

But P isn’t alone in considering starting a league of his own.

“I did have a dream to own an NFL team, but now my dream is to own our own league!” Diddy wrote on Twitter last Tuesday.

This could be the thing dreams of Black opulence are made of.
