America will be waking up to a brand new face pretty soon. Former New York Giants player Michael Strahan has officially signed on as Kelly Ripa's new co-host on "Live With Kelly." The retired NFL player will be taking the place of Regis Philbin starting Sept. 4.
Content with staying on his television hustle, Strahan has reportedly confirmed that he will still continue his football analyst position for Fox NFL Sunday, which will likely mean many cross-country flights. Having temporarily subbed for Philbin several times since 2010, Strahan beat out 59 others who had also appeared on "Live" as guest hosts.
