Yvette Wilson, the actress who played Andell Wilkerson on "Moesha" and "The Parkers," lost her battle with cervical cancer on Thursday. Friend and co-star Shar Jackson announced the death on Twitter, asking followers to pray for her, writing, "Everyone plz (please) send prayer and light to my sister and best friend Yvette Wilson."
Wilson, who had memorable roles in "Friday" and the "House Party" franchise, had also experienced kidney failure. She was 48 years old.
