Your son having the option of selecting the college of his choice should be a joyous occasion. Instead, one mother got so upset over her child’s decision that she walked off during his big moment on national television.

Jacob Copeland, a Pensacola Escambia High School receiver, committed to Florida duringWednesday’s national signing day. His mother was right by his side as he announced the decision, and she donned an Alabama shirt and a Tennessee beanie, two of the schools Copeland factored in when making his decision.

Copeland said he was led by God to pick Florida, where his previous coach Jim McElwain governs the school’s team.

In a shocking and awkwardly disappointing move, Copeland’s mother walked off live TV once he announced that he was going to play for Florida.

As you can see, she wasted no time grabbing her purse and exiting stage left after he put on a Florida Gators hat.

Damn.
