On Thursday, December 4, Fashion Fair Cosmetics—the largest Black-owned cosmetics company in the world—celebrated its partnership with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical.

“As a longtime fan of the play, I am extremely excited that our brand had the opportunity to partner with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella as the production welcomes NeNe Leakes to the cast,” said Amy Hilliard, president of Fashion Fair Cosmetics. “As the first cosmetic brand developed specifically for women of color, it’s an honor to partner with this play as we all welcome the first Black Cinderella on Broadway,” she continued.

As part of the partnership, Fashion Fair Cosmetics launched the Cinderella Collection, a selection of Fashion Fair looks inspired by the play. The collection is currently featured exclusively in select Macy’s locations in the New York tri-state area from now until the end of the year.

To celebrate the partnership, Fashion Fair hosted a meet-and-greet and makeover event with NeNe Leakes at Macy’s Herald’s Square on December 4. Leakes plays the evil stepmother Madame in the production, and is known for staring in the reality hit series The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo.

During the event, Leakes showcased a signature look from the collection as she greeted Fashion Fair customers. Guests also had the opportunity to receive makeovers from the talented Fashion Fair makeup artists, such as Tia Dantzler, celebrity makeup artist and Fashion Fair global creative director. Fashion Fair and Cinderella also sponsored a raffle for a prize of two tickets to the Cinderella Broadway play.
