Lovers of Bridgerton prepare for a royal origin story of epic proportions.
Netflix has released the official trailer for Queen Charlotte, the newest addition to its Bridgerton series' universe. The spinoff follows the young queen and witness her rise to power and gain insight into the woman on the Bridgerton throne. In the series, we are also greeted with cameos from her beloved friends and peers such as Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton. Queen Charlotte will be reprised by Golda Rosheuvel with her younger self played by India Amarteifio.
At at a fan-centered event, creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes revealed that the show would be released on the streaming platform on May 4, 2023.
