Beyoncé has endorsed Rep. Beto O’Rourke in the U.S. Senate race in Texas.

The singer posted to Instagram on Tuesday with a picture of her wearing a hat with the words “Beto for Senate” written on it.

“I’m feeling grateful for everyone before me who fought so hard to give us all the right to have a voice. We can’t voice our frustrations and complain about what’s wrong without voting and exercising our power to make it right,” she wrote. “We need you. We all need each other, because when we are truly united we are unstoppable.”

O’Rourke (D-TX) is facing Republican incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz in a closely watched Senate race with recent polls placing Cruz ahead of O’Rourke.

The Houston native hasn’t shied away from politics. In the 2016 presidential election, she stumped for Hillary Clinton.

Beyoncé has joined a long list of celebrities encouraging people to go out and vote this election cycle.

“Sending you all love and positivity on this happy voting day! Every vote counts, every race matters, everywhere,” she wrote.

O’Rourke noticed the star’s post and expressed appreciation for the support.

“Thank you, Beyoncé!” he tweeted.

The Senate candidate also said in a live stream that “Beyoncé transcends any place, time, or description. Just an amazing genius and force.”
