The first day of Bill Cosby’s sentencing hearing stemming from sexual assault charges has come to a close at a Montgomery County courthouse in Pennsylvania, multiple outlets reported on Monday.

Judge Steven T. O’Neill delayed the sentencing to Tuesday as the prosecution and defense teams argue on whether the comedian should serve jail time over the three counts of aggravated felony sexual assault for drugging and attacking Andrea Constand at his home in 2004.

Cosby faces up to 30 years in prison if sentenced on all three charges.

Constand spoke at the sentencing on Monday saying she wants “justice as the court sees fit.”

“I have testified, I have given you my victim impact statement. You heard me, the jury heard me and Mr. Cosby heard me. All I’m asking for is justice as the court sees fit,” she said.

The prosecution, which hinted that they would seek a lesser sentence for the 81-year-old, sought 5 to 10 years in prison, according to TMZ.

“To say he is too old to [go to prison], that he should get a pass because it has taken this long to catch up for what he has done … what they are asking for is a get out of jail free card,” Prosecutor Kevin Steele said in court, per NBC News. “Nobody is above the law. Nobody.”

Cosby’s legal team argued that he should serve house arrest following April’s convictions.
