One Black man at a Florida protest took a phenomenally peaceful approach when a neo-Nazi interrupted the demonstration.

On Thursday, hundreds gathered at the University of Florida to protest the arrival of White supremacist Richard Spencer, who was giving a speech on the campus. A neo-Nazi wearing a shirt with swastikas was punched by one demonstrator and derided by others when he disrupted the protest.

But Aaron Alex Courtney, 31, decided the hateful soul was in need of affection.

“You need a f**cking hug,” the amiable man is heard saying in the video. “Why you don’t like me, dawg? Huh? What is it? What is it?”

In another act of resistance, a music professor at the university played “Lift Every Voice and Sing”—also known as the Black anthem—from the school’s bell tower during Spencer’s appearance.
