In 2006, Judith Regan interview O.J. Simpson for Fox where he promoted his book If I Did It. Rupert Murdoch, Fox creator, chose to scrap the interview with the accused because of backlash from the families involved. The network has decided to finally air the previously unseen footage more than a decade later after getting approval.

According to Fox “O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession,” is a “no-holds-barred” special hosted by Soledad O’Brien. The show will chronicle the night Simpson was arrested for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. In the interview, Simpson “in his own words, offers a detailed — and disturbing — description of what might have happened on that fateful night of June 12, 1994.” The former football phenom was found not guilty in the highly publicized trial.

The special airs at 8 p.m. on March 11th with limited commercial breaks and frequent PSAs on domestic violence.
