Officials are still in search of a motive for the mass shooting that took place at a social services center in San Bernardino on Wednesday.

One moment, Syed Rizwan Farook was sitting at a table with colleagues. The next, he was standing in front of them dressed in battle gear and armed with an assault rifle.

The 28-year-old county restaurant inspector, along with his wife, Tashfeen Malik, 27, killed 14 people and seriously injured more than twenty. The two were gunned down in an SUV a few miles away from the center during a shootout with police.

Federal investigators are left trying to piece together a reason why the couple, who had a baby daughter, went on the deadly rampage.
