A man who allegedly made repeated threats against the Atlanta-based office of U.S. Rep. John Lewis has been arrested.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that 42-year-old Dante Antoine Rosser was detained Thursday by the FBI and U.S. Capitol police at his west Atlanta home.

Officials say Rosser called Lewis’ office about 46 times between Feb. 22 and Feb. 23. In a Feb. 23 call, he allegedly said, “I will blow your head off. You’re dead.”

FBI Spokesman Stephen Emmett said the calls started in Jan. 2016. Rosser repeatedly contacted the civil rights activist and congressional leader’s office “Demanding that Congressman Lewis and his staff seek financial reparations on his and his family’s behalf,” Emmett said.

Rosser is slated to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
