Funeral arrangements for Kenneka Jenkins have been tentatively set for Saturday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Jenkins’ mother, Tereasa Martin, made the announcement via Facebook live.

While a location has not been finalized, Martin said she decided to move the ceremony from Thursday to Saturday to accommodate supporters who would like to attend.

Jenkins’ death has garnered national attention after she was found dead Sept. 10 in a walk-in freezer at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, Il. Protesters have continued to gather outside the hotel in a call for justice, as details regarding the teen’s death began to surface.

The 19-year-old was attending a party when she was found dead.

 Story developing.
