Theodore Wafer has been found guilty of second-degree murder, manslaughter and felony firearm in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Renisha McBride.
A jury of 7 men and 5 women convicted the 55-year-old Dearborn Heights man.
Wafer was charged with second-degree murder, though the jury had the option of the lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter. Sentencing is to take place later this month.
