The Marine Corps released a statement saying that Sergeant Gary Stein is facing dismissal after starting a Facebook page called "Armed Forces Tea Party" — a violation of Pentagon policy barring troops from political activities. Stein has been repeatedly warned about the page, but has been adamant in keeping it up, saying, "I'm completely shocked that this is happening. I've done nothing wrong. I've only stated what our oath states that I will defend the Constitution and that I will not follow unlawful orders. If that's a crime, what is America coming to?"

While "freedom of speech" applies to conservatives as well, how disturbing is it that a person in charge of leading troops and protecting Americans launched a Facebook page tying him to an organization that basically calls for an overthrow of the government?
