Things are beginning to look up for embattled Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee. On Wednesday he resigned from the radio station after a man dressed as a woman released audio of the DJ soliciting him for sex, adding to his list of scandals involving prostitutes. This morning he took to the airwaves in a candid and honest interview in which he admitted that though he "loves women," he "occasionally … [gets] the urge to have fellatio with a transsexual, a man that looks like a woman."

Hot 97 Program Director Ebro Darden was supportive, saying that Mister Cee's sexuality wasn't the problem, but his illegal activity. He also urged Mister Cee to reconsider his resignation. Though there is a long way to go in the fight against homophobia and transphobia in the world, there has been an inspiring outpouring of support for Mister Cee online and off.

Many tweeted their love and encouragement, including some of music's greatest names.
